TCK200 USB Thermocouple Interface Kit

The TCK200 USB Thermocouple Interface Kit offers a seamless interface kit with the iCure allowing precise measurements of temperatures using a range of common contact thermocouples.

The TCK200 Interface Kit can be used to determine or optimize cure profiles to insure that either adhesive or substrate does not exceed a target temperature. It can also be used to calibrate the emissivity of the IRT-200 to ensure that the IR non-contact thermometer reads the correct temperature. 

CLOSED-LOOP VERSUS OPEN-LOOP

In a closed-loop, the thermocouple is used to read the target temperature & provides feedback to the controlling circuit of the iCure. This action-reaction control-loop allows the iCure to regulate its output power to guarantee that the target temperature stays within specifications.

An open-loop system has no regulatory feedback; the iCure just outputs a manually set power value with no knowledge of what the resultant temperature is going to be.
